Have you ever encountered a situation where a computer in a LAN, whether connected via Wi-Fi or a cable, sometimes shows no network access with a yellow exclamation mark in the bottom right corner? Or perhaps you've experienced bandwidth limitations or restricted browsing set by the network administrator. These actions are usually targeted at your IP address. To resolve these issues and escape restrictions, you might need to change your IP address. Here are a few methods to do so:

Method 1: Change IP Address via Network and Sharing Center (For Windows)
1. Click on the network connection icon in the taskbar's bottom-right corner, then click on the “Open Network and Sharing Center” link in the window that opens.
2. In the “View your active networks” section, click on the “Local Area Connection” link.
3. In the “Local Area Connection Status” dialog, click on the “Properties” button.
4. In the “Local Area Connection Properties” dialog, double-click on “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” in the list under the “Networking” tab.
5. In the “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties” dialog, you can set or change the IP address and DNS server under the “General” tab.

Typically, selecting "Obtain an IP address automatically" should suffice. (Note: Selecting this means that each time you start your computer, the system will automatically obtain a dynamic IP address from the DHCP server, which is a public IP address, indicating your computer's address information in the WAN.)

Method 2: Change IP Address via Router (Refer to the router's manual for the management interface IP, username, and password)
1. Open Internet Explorer or any other browser and type in the router's management IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.1) in the address bar, then press Enter.
2. Enter the username and password, then click the “OK” button to log into the router.
3. In the left blue area, expand the “Network Parameters” → “LAN port settings” section.
4. In the LAN port settings interface, you can modify the IP address. After completing, click the “Save” button.

Method 3: Use a Proxy Server (Proxy)
· If you just want to access web pages, like internet forums, consider using a proxy server and the IP address it assigns.
· If the issue is not due to technical reasons and remains unresolved, you might want to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to inquire if they can change your IP address.
